Our founding story.

We founded Nerve Trace after years working at WinSanTor, a leader in regenerative-nerve therapeutics advancing Phase 3 treatments for peripheral neuropathy. While supporting clinical trials, we managed in-house ENFD and IENFD pathology programs and saw firsthand how manual nerve-fiber quantification limited scalability, speed, and consistency. Even with expert pathologists, variability in tracing and reporting slowed trial timelines and increased cost per case.

Nerve Trace was created to solve that bottleneck. Our AI analysis layer automates epidermal and intraepidermal nerve-fiber detection, quantification, and reporting with validated precision—reducing turnaround time, standardizing outputs, and enabling consistent data across labs and studies. Today, we partner with clinical sites, CROs, and diagnostic labs to make nerve-fiber density testing faster, reproducible, and globally accessible.
